Cupcake challenge 64
It’s been a while since I took part in any challenges but I will try and do more of them. This one is for the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog.

Here is the sketch

and here is my card.

I spritzed the cuttlebug panel with Cosmic Shimmer spray and added some peel-offs. It looks nice and shimmery in RL.

Souffle Duck
Another challenge, I do like these challenges. This one is for the Crafters Companion blog.

Here is the sketch

There is also a theme, the card is to be for a child/teenager/young adult. I have a friend who’s granddaughter is mad about Souffle duck so I have made a card with her in mind.
Here is my card

I stamped and coloured Souffle with Lyra watercolour crayons. It was impossible to cut out the string without leaving white areas, I do not like white areas so I cut off the string and label. Re-stamped the string and tag onto the orange paper used for the circle background and cut it out, glued the white tag on top ot the orange tag. That way when I attached him to the circle there are no white areas. If I had not cuttlebuged the circle I could just have stamped onto the circle but I wanted the texture behind him.

I also coloured the edge of the cuttlebugged circle with brown ink for a bit of definition.

Lavender Fairy
This is the first challenge on the Crafters Companion blog, it is a sketch challenge
Here is the Crafters Companion Blog

Here is the sketch

Here is my card

I turned the sketch onto it’s side as I wanted to use the decoupage Lavender Fairy and she looked better this way. The purple organza ribbon does not show up very well in the scan.
I used the lavender Fairy and Lavender Fairy backing paper from the Crafters Companion Flower Fairy CD. I think the butterfly card is from Kanban and the wired dragonfly is from Syntego.

Here is the card, sorry about the scan I will have to see if I can take a photo of it.

I used the Fairie Poppet stamp and coloured it with the Lyra Aquacolors. The paper is from the Flower Fairy Rose CD by Crafters Companion andat the bottom is glitter card. The sentiment stamp is by Aspect of Design. I also used the circle nestabilities and paper roses and ribbon.

Gone Fishing
One of the reasons I started this blog was to join in some of the challenges. This one is on the Prairie Paper and Ink blog.

This is the sketch Amy made for the challenge this week.
and this is the card I made using the sketch.

I must stop thinking of brown and cream when I use Popcorn. LOL I promise my next card will be a colourful one. Today my Lyra Aquacolor’s arrived so I used them on this Popcorn stamp. I’m not very happy with the way I coloured it but with practice I’m sure I will get used to them. I used the Fishing Popcorn stamp set coloured using Lyra Aquacolors, Curved Rectangles and Labels 3 nestabilities.
Don’t wear white when gardening
When I was walking Charlie the dog this morning we went past a shop selling plants and I saw some lovely blue bedding plants so I brought some. The part of the garden I wanted to plant them in is in the shade until about mid-morning so I decided to plant them as soon as I got in, before the sun reached them. I watered the flowerbed, planted the plants, watered them in and then realised that I was in such a hurry that I had not changed. My lovely white skirt was not very white when I had finished. LOL Never mind the plants look nice, not sure what they are called as I forgot to ask and there was no plant label in them.
Anyway I did make a card today. I used the new Crafter’s Companion Popcorn CD. I do love popcorn he is so cute.

I used the decoupage popcorn but cut off the oval he was on as I wanted to use the curved rectangle nestabilities. I had some ribbon that matched his blanket to finish the card.
Thank you for all the comments you left after my first post.
